Questions people ask

Is Hamdor free?
Yes. All 35 games are free. The optional Hamdor Plus subscription only adds unlimited private tables and premium looks; it never affects winning or losing. Hamdor has no betting and no gambling.
Does it work on iPhone?
Yes, through the Hamdor web app. Open it in Safari, tap Share and choose Add to Home Screen, and Hamdor sits on your home screen like an app. The same web app works on iPad and desktop.
Can I play without internet?
Yes, in the Android app. The multiplayer games can be played against bots, and solo games like Sudoku and Solitaire need no connection at all. Playing with friends and ranked games need internet.
Are Hokm, Shelem and Backgammon played by Iranian rules?
Yes. Hokm with the hakem and kot, Shelem with bidding and shelem, Pasur with surs, Takhte Nard as matches to 3 or 5 with mars, and Persian dama, the way they are played in Iran. Every game also explains its rules inside the app.
How do I play with my friends?
Make an account with your mobile number and add friends with their friend code. Then open a private room and invite them, or send them the room code.
How do I know if my opponent is a bot?
Bots always carry a “Bot” label. In online games, if nobody is found within a few seconds, a bot fills the empty seat and is labeled next to its name.
Can two people play on one phone?
Yes. Most board games, such as Backgammon, Chess, Checkers and Ludo, can be played by two people on one phone.
