Div Duel is Hamdor's newest game: match-three, but face to face with a real opponent. First you each take three of the six divs on the table: the fiery Azhdaha and Samandar, the Whale Div and the Water Fairy, the Bull-Head and the Vine Div, Homa and Simorgh, the Ghoul and the White Div. Then you take turns swapping two neighbouring runes on one shared 7×7 board. Matched blades hurt your rival straight away, and fire, water, leaf, sun and shadow runes fill the mana of your divs of that element.
A full div has its skill ready: Fire Breath, Healing Wave, Mist Shield, Earthquake, Poison Vine, Homa's Fortune, Simorgh's Feather, Drain or the White Div's Smash. Which divs you draft and when you cast each skill decide the match. On Hamdor you play Div Duel online in ranked games, in a private room with friends, offline against a bot or two players on one phone.
How to play Div Duel
- The draft: six divs are on the table. You each take three in the order 1-2-2-1 (one for the first player, two for the other, two, then one). The second drafter starts the battle, and the side that moves second begins with 3 mana in each div.
- On your turn swap two neighbouring runes (across or down); a swap only counts if it lines up three or more of a kind. Matched runes break, the ones above fall and new runes drop in from the top; every line the fall makes is yours too (a combo).
- Each matched blade deals 4 damage to the rival, one more for every later wave of a combo. Each fire, water, leaf, sun or shadow rune gives one mana to each of your divs of that element.
- A line of four or more earns one more swap. A div with full mana shows «Cast!»: tap it any time on your turn to use its skill; casting does not use up your swap.
- A shield takes damage before life does; poison takes 5 life as each poisoned turn starts, shield or not. If no swap is possible the runes reshuffle themselves.
- Bring your rival to 0 life to win. After 50 turns in all, more life wins and equal life is a draw. Tap any div to read its skill.
These are the exact rules Hamdor plays by; the app shows them too, under each game's How to play tab.
Div Duel on Hamdor
- A 1-2-2-1 draft: six random divs are on the table; the first player takes one, the second two, the first two more and the second the last. The second drafter starts the battle, and the side that moves second starts with 3 mana in each div.
- Swaps: a swap only counts if it lines up three or more runes of a kind. Runes above fall down and every new line is a combo.
- Blades: each matched blade deals 4 damage, one more for every later wave of a combo.
- Extra swap: a line of four or more earns one more swap.
- Skills: tap a full div any time on your turn to cast it; casting does not use up your swap.
- Winning: bring your rival from 100 life to zero; after 50 turns more life wins. Private rooms also offer a short (70 life) and a long (150 life) duel.
- Shop looks: Enamel, Crystal and Glow Night runes, the Damavand, Persian Garden, Desert Night and Persepolis arenas, and Golden, Miniature, Shadow and Frozen divs. Looks only, never power.

Tips to win at Div Duel
- Draft more than one element. Two divs of one element charge together, but both wait if that colour is scarce on the board.
- Cast before you swap. Earthquake and Lava change the board and may open a better swap.
- Take the blades away. Sometimes the best move breaks up the blade line your rival would use next.
- Match low on the board. Lower lines drop more runes and make combos likelier.
- Shield before the Smash. If the rival's White Div is full, Mist Shield saves you more than healing.
- Poison ignores shields. Cast Poison Vine on a rival who has stacked a shield.

Div Duel FAQ
How many players is Div Duel?
Two: you and one rival, each with three divs. If no online opponent turns up, a bot takes the seat.
Does anything you buy decide who wins?
No. Every div and skill is free for everyone. The shop only changes how the runes, the arena and the divs look.
What if no swap is left?
The runes reshuffle themselves until at least one swap is possible.
Can I play Div Duel offline?
Yes. Playing against a bot and two players on one phone work without internet. Online games and private rooms need a connection.
